W's daddy didn't finish the job in Iraq because that was not what the UN resolution called for. Again, politicians should not attempt to manage a war. They SUCK at it. They don't have the STOMACH for it.

We don't agree on much it seems. But that is one of the great things about our country. We can disagree with each other, we can disagree openly with the government. I don't think we would have that freedom if strong willed people before us had not had the backbone to stand up to tyrants. That is not a plug for this war, just a general statement.

What is the old saying, "I disagree completely with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it". Or something like that. I love this country and I would LOVE to see it get back on the right track. No matter who the President is. Surely we can agree on that.

This is a hot one...Clinton is a BAD BOY for not taking Osama because it is against the law. Bush is a GOOD BOY for going against the UN and sinking us into a war with no end. BUT it is a good excuse for his daddy not have taken Saddam because the UN said not to...Get me them thar haid ake pills. Perhaps we should check the Bush family tree a little closer, see if they ever sided against the Jews, since this all boils down to the middle east. See where the 1st was when the hostages were cut loose from Iran, see how many really good , profitable oil companies they ran. Ones that made without political favors. The best thing about the Bush family is...they are out of sons.

Who cares- the point is somebody complains about flip/flops. I'da been ok with a Rep pres, if it had been just about anyone else. At least till they proved to be better/worse, but this... how could we miss.

I care, as I think it is a very important question. Do we hand over the sovereignty of our country to a bunch of despots and Marxists? IMO, absolutely not. The UN should be driven, forcefully if necessary, from this country. The ultra left in this country want to side with the UN when it benefits them, and argue against them when that suits them. They can't have it both ways.

If we weren't goin to adhere to the UN, we should have never helped form the UN. Funny thing is, when other countries don't adhere to UN resolutions we attack them. And when we don't, we find excuses to justify not complying. Sounds a little hypocritical to me.

The US has alway stuck our nose in where it didn't belong. Bush is a draft dodger. The US put the UN together. My point was some point to one thing when it is good for "their side" and try to ignore it when it isn't. The problem is like the 600 buck tax cut, most are too dumb to realize that it was much greater for the rich, both parties. Like in the hundreds of millions of dollars. It is about time this country went back to the people, or we should just leave it to the bunch that thinks all Americans should work for the same 3 dollars an hour the wet-backs do. This is why we can't get any enforcement of the laws on the books . We don't need any more laws, just cut out the benefits for the illegals and enforce the laws that exist, and deport like crazy.

For your information, migrant agriculture labor in this country is now a federally required $9+ per hour, and that's through Clinton's H2A program. Tax cuts, based on a percentage, will always be greater for those who make more money - such as Clinton's staff, who appointed more millionaires to his cabinet than any prez before or since.
